Manchester City player Joao Cancelo was left with cuts and bruises around his right eye after four people were attacked during a burglary at his home.

The Portuguese defender said in a post on Instagram Tales, that he defended himself and protected his family. He has a 2-year-old daughter Alicia with his partner Daniela Machado.

“Bohužiaľ, today I was attacked by four cowards, who hurt me and tried to hurt my family,” napísal Cancelo.
