Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku said, that he is not satisfied with the system of manager Thomas Tuchel and at the same time admitted, that he would like to return to Serie A Inter Milan at some point in his career.
Lukaku left Inter in August and returned to Chelsea for a second stint in a club-record deal 97,5 million pounds (131,46 million USD).
"After two years in Italy, during which I worked a lot at Inter with trainers and nutritionists, I'm physically fine. But I'm not happy with the situation, it's normal,Lukaku told Sky Italy.
“I think, that the coach decided to play with a different system, I just can't give up and continue to work and be a professional. I am not happy with the situation, but I am a worker and I must not give up."
Sky did not state, when the interview took place, and did not specify the "situation", while the entire interview was broadcast on Friday.
Lukaku has either led the line at Chelsea this season, or played alongside his attacker, but the Belgium international has missed nine games since October due to injury and COVID-19, while he has scored only seven goals in all competitions so far.
Chelsea were at the top of the table for several weeks, but now she found herself in second place, eight points behind leaders Manchester Metropolis after two wins in their last six games.
Lukaku revived his career at Inter, where he shot 64 goals in two seasons and won the Serie A title before leaving. 28-player of the year said, that he hopes, that he will meet the club again in the future.
“I really hope so in the bottom of my heart, that I will return to Inter not at the end of my career, but still at a good level and I hope, that I will win more,” he said.
“I always said, that I have Inter in my heart, that I will return there, I really hope so.” I am in love with Italy.”
Chelsea host Liverpool on Sunday with the Anfield club one point behind Tuchel's game.
